The Ensō Award

The Ensō Award:

In Zen, ensō (円相 , “circle”) is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.

The Ensō Award will be given annually to an individual or organization who demonstrates an ongoing commitment to the arts in our community and who encourages the community to support the arts, artists, artistic businesses collaborations and arts organizations.

This year’s awards will be created by our very own Duncan McClellan!
